Nominations are invited for this year’s Civic Service Awards. Just a handful of these are given each year to individuals or groups who have made a “sustained or significant contribution” to our community. There are also separate awards for Youth Civic Service in recognition of having “volunteered or shown leadership, initiative, enthusiasm and commitment to a worthwhile cause, of benefit to their peer group and/or the wider community”.
The awards will be presented by the Mayor at the Civic Sunday reception on 17th September 2023. If you know of any deserving candidates, please collect a nomination form from the Civic Hall or print a copy from the Poynton Town Council website.

The deadline for nominations is 4pm on Friday 11th August.
