Recently the Council Community Support Team visited Lostock Hall Primary School and presented their school talk on the ‘Countryside Code’ to Reception and Key Stage 1 children.

Following that visit the team then spoke to the rest of the school. The children learnt that they must ‘Respect, Protect and Enjoy’ the countryside whilst remembering to remove their litter, leave gates as they find them and stick to footpaths. On the 25th September 2020 the CCST held their first Surgery since lockdown. This was held at the ‘Fig and Fennel’ café on School Lane between 10.30am – 12.00. It was a great success with the team dealing with varied issues from parking to vulnerable people, whilst adhering to the Covid guidelines.
