The project to refurbish the Civic Hall is now largely completed. As part of the project the aged electrical and heating systems were replaced with new more energy efficient systems. The elec- trical system has been installed in such a way that we can add solar panels at a later date and quotes are currently being obtained. In addition, the Council Chamber has been extensively re- furbished and modernised. The new cupboards in the Main Hall allow us to store tables and chairs in a safer way and has resulted in a less cluttered room. One of our counselling rooms has also been refurbished and all other meeting rooms are newly decorated. Over the course of the next few months some additional work will be carried out to repair and renovate the hall floor and replace blown windows and a glass door. Interested in hiring our rooms?
