It was Worth Primary School’s 50th birthday party in April and the school made sure they celebrated it properly. They had a 1960s themed day as the school was built in 1969. Children and adults came dressed up in some very impressive outfits.  There was plenty of birthday cake, a special assembly, a party lunch and a 1960s boogie in the afternoon. The activities the children completed throughout the day were also linked to the 1960s. During the evening, the school opened its doors and welcomed a number of past pupils and staff in to share their wonderful memories and see the school as it stands today. It was a great community event. Here’s to the next 50 years of success.
