Worth Primary School were delighted to welcome Collette Brown from CLIC Sargent to one of their assemblies in January after the charity supported one of the school’s pupils and their family through cancer when they were younger, the pupils and staff decided to raise money for this worthwhile cause during 2017. Money was raised through a sponsored run and also during Worth’s annual ‘Enterprise Week’ when products were made and sold by the children. Collette talked to the children about the work the charity does to support young people with cancer and was delighted to receive a cheque for £1,120.00. Well done everyone!
