Poynton Conservatives would like to thank all essential workers who have been leading the fight against coronavirus. This includes staff in the NHS, care homes, the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services, and also staff in supermarkets and food shops and the whole supply chain from farm to shop, postal workers, delivery drivers and the people keeping the utilities, infrastructure and refuse collection services running. The Town Council staff and volunteer street champions have provided much needed help across Poynton.
Finally, thank you to the vast majority of the people of Poynton for following the social distancing rules and helping to stop the spread of this deadly disease.
