As a result of continued uncertainty with the delay of lockdown restrictions, ongoing vaccination programmes and the spread of the new variant, the Town Council have decided to delay the Annual Civic Awards until Sunday 26th September 2021.

Nominations are invited for this year’s Civic Service Awards. Just a handful of these are given each year to individuals or groups who have made a “sustained and significant contribution” to our community. 

If you know of any deserving candidates who have made a tremendous effort to support members of our community, please collect a nomination form from the Civic Hall or print a copy from here.

Alternatively you can send a brief citation including the nominated person(s)/group contact details, in confidence to the Town Clerk, either by e-mail to: haf.barlow@poyntontowncouncil.gov.uk or by post to the Town Clerk, Poynton Town Council, Civic Hall, off Park Lane, Poynton SK12 1RB. 

The extended deadline for nominations is 4pm on Friday 13th August 2021
