Following the extensive refurbishment of the club things are certainly getting busy on Park Lane. Heather Longhorn (pictured) joined the club in October and boosted current membership past the 1000 mark. Heather is a long haul cabin crew attendant for a transatlantic airline and commented “The new club look is fantastic, it has a lovely warm and welcome feel to it, everyone is so friendly”
Craig Hadfield the Club President said “Since we completed the refurbishment we’ve had a boost in membership applications. We have embarked on a program of improved entertainment and what we can offer our members and look forward to welcoming more new faces. Our members are from all walks of life and we offer facilities and events to suit all age groups”
“In addition to Saturday evening cabaret the club we have a wide range of activities including a golf society, a superb bowling green, snooker and pool tables, darts, quizzes and modern and vintage motorbike sections. The 13 foot HD screen shows all the big games on Sky TV and BT Sport including rugby and cricket and on big match days we have a great crowd atmosphere”
