Ofsted inspectors have given a Poynton Pre-School one of the first “Outstanding” rating under the new Inspection framework.
Mini V Pre-School in Poynton is one of the first Pre-Schools in the area to have received the “Outstanding” grade in all four key areas: The quality of education: Behaviour and attitudes: the children’s Personal development and the Leadership and Management of the Pre-School.
The Inspector said the children flourish in this exciting and inspiring preschool where the curriculum is planned meticulously and is precisely sequenced to build on children’s skills and capabilities.
She said that the staff all have extremely high expectations for the children and focus on what individual children need to learn next.
The report added, “the children arrive in high spirits and their laughter and chatter is heard throughout the environment where children play harmoniously and have a delightful time together.”
In relation to the staff at Mini V the inspector noted that they are all highly qualified and use their superb skills and abilities extremely well.
The preschool owner and manager, Hazel Stock said, “I am so proud of all the staff for their continuing hard work and commitment to the outcomes for the children and the love of learning that we help to develop.“
“The report truly reflects the passion we have for what we do, and the dedication to all the children in our care.”
