By completing this latest survey you will be contributing towards the delivery of the library service, by helping inform the Sustainable Libraries Strategy. (Closing date – November 8th) 

• Monday 28th October, 10am – 12. Meet the Police. Half term children and family event – Come and chat to our local PCSOs in the library. Sit in a police car, have your fingerprints taken and try on a uniform. 

• Friday 15th November, 10 -11.30am. Poetry and Coffee Morning. Former Cheshire Poet Laureate, Joy Winkler will be reading from her latest collection, Wings, Planes and Weather Vanes. Enjoy a coffee and biscuits while listening in relaxed surroundings. Copies of Joy’s book will be available to buy at the event. Attendance is free and no need to book. 

• Tuesday 19th November, 7.30pm. Alan Turing’s Manchester – an author talk by Jonathan Swinton. Tickets £2.50 (includes a glass of wine or a soft drink on arrival) Doors open at 7pm. Please book in advance at the library. • Tuesday 29th October 2-4pm. Family and Finance helpdesk. Come along to the library today for free informal advice on financial and family legal issues.
