The Town Council are pleased to announce the recent installation of six planters around Poynton. Earlier in the year Poynton Town Council applied for them as part of the ‘Welcome Back Scheme’ run by Cheshire East Council.

The new planters have been placed on Park Lane, Clumber Road junction and London Road South. The placement of the planters on London Road South has a tactical element, as we hope to deter anti-social car parking at that location.

The plants chosen are low maintenance, bee friendly and compliment the colours of her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee emblem. In the coming weeks they will receive the Jubilee logo along with the Poynton with Worth medallion. The planters will improve throughout the year and are planted in peat free compost.
