Lower Park School pupils were delighted with a new outdoor area which awaited them at the beginning of the autumn term.
Funds raised by the PTA had enabled building work to take place during the summer, and an ‘outdoor classroom’ was ready and waiting for the children on their return. The multi-purpose structure is already being used throughout the day, and the school is indebted to Mr Halpin who built it, and is himself a former pupil at the school.
