Poynton Town Council have recently installed two new defibrillators in the old telephone boxes at the side of the Boars Head on Anson Road and on the bend on Coppice Road next to the footpath down to the allotments.
Poynton Town Council’s Operations Manager Phil Cunningham said. “We are so grateful to the residents and organisations of Poynton for their generosity in donating funds to this project. Without their help this project would simply have not got off the ground.” He went on to say “This project is now around 70% complete. Fundraising is still in progress for a further two Defibs in the area.
