Thanks to a two-day course led by Bikeability, Year 6 pupils at Lower Park School have much greater awareness about keeping safe whilst cycling. The children were offered free cycling tuition to improve their skills and knowledge on the road in real life situations around  Poynton.
Assisted by school staff and parent volunteers, the Bikeablilty instructors taught the children to be aware of other vehicles on the road, think of their own positioning before signalling and how to make safe manoeuvres.
