On September 19th, Key Stage 2 from Lostock Hall Primary were very excited to meet award winning author Cressida Cowell at Stockport Plaza. Ms Cowell is well known for her ‘How to train your dragon’ series of children’s books, but on this occasion she was in the area to talk about her new novel, ‘The Wizard of Once’. Her latest book is all about wizards and warriors and their fight with an enemy returning from extinction! Ms Cowell spoke about her childhood holidays and how they have shaped her books. Pupils returned to school with signed copies of the new book, having had an amazing morning.
