On Saturday the 12th September a “Junior Captain’s Day” was held at Davenport Golf Club, Poynton. The event comprised of ‘The Captain’s Putting Challenge, followed by a ‘Four Hole Stableford Competition’.
All of the Junior Members who took part had an excellent day out in glorious weather. We also had a number of visitors attending who obviously enjoyed watching the competitions, so much so, that we have now recruited 8 new Junior Members.
The Davenport Juniors’ 5 Week Coaching Programme, is run by our Professional Jamie Howarth, who is ably assisted by a qualified past Davenport Lady Captain.
