On Sunday 11th December, Poynton Royal British Legion Concert Band will present its annual Christmas Concert at the Civic Hall. Doors will open at 1.30pm for a 2.00pm start, complimentary refreshments will be served, including mulled wine and mince pies. There will be a raffle during the interval and the concert will conclude around 4.00pm.
This event promises an afternoon of Christmas entertainment for the whole family. As well as seasonal and other music from the Band, the concert will feature local community choir “Just Sing” who will perform a number of popular songs and lead the singing of Christmas Carols.
Be sure to save the date. Advance booking is recommended for this popular event and tickets £7.50 (under 16’s accompanied by an adult FREE) can be reserved by emailing prbl.band@ntlworld.com or phoning (01625) 876865.
There is ample free parking and good disabled access is available at the Civic Hall.
