Despite the coronavirus situation, work has been continuing to repair the bridge and retaining wall where Dickens Lane meets Moggie Lane. There have been some delays due to the need for social distancing and limited supplies of some specialist materials. Cheshire East now hope to have the works completed by mid June. As part of the preparatory works, Cheshire East have also renewed the highway drainage in the areas adjacent to the bridge, including outside the cottages.
