On Monday 23rd September, the Mayor presented the last two Youth Civic Awards to Peri Baytan and Phoebe Cooper as the girls were unable to attend the awards ceremony in July. The Youth Civic Awards are given in recognition of having shown leadership, initiative, enthusiasm and commitment to a worthwhile cause, of benefit to their peer group and/or the wider community. Both were nominated along with other winners at 1st Poynton Rainbows and 11th Poynton Brownies.
