Cheshire East Council has advised that despite the latest lockdown restrictions, its waste and recycling collections are not affected, and they will endeavour to continue to deliver a full service across the borough, including the fulfilment of its 2020 Christmas bin collection schedule.

From mid-November, Ansa Environmental Services – a Cheshire East Council owned company, will be placing information stickers on bins of those households whose normal collections fall on Christmas Day, the bank holiday and New Year’s Day,advising residents of changes to their collection schedule over the Christmas and New Year period.

Over the Christmas period there will be no garden waste collections from Tuesday 22nd December, collections will resume on Monday 4th January 2021.
