Stockport’s Vernon Building Society has revealed the 14 finalists in this year’s Community Awards.
The not-for-profit and community groups will share Vernon’s £10,000 community fund, based on the number of votes they receive in the public vote.

A total of 23 groups applied for a share of this year’s Community Awards, and Vernon’s Community Panel decided the shortlist.

This year’s finalists are:

• Hawk Green Women’s Cricket Team
• NK Theatre Arts
• Poynton Pedals for All
• Seashell Trust
• Signpost Stockport for Carers
• St Ann’s Hospice
• Stockport Without Abuse
• Supportability
• The Garden House Marple
• Together Trust
• Walthew House
