Poynton Town Council’s Community Support Team and Communities Co-ordinator have been liaising with P.C. Jane Commins from Cheshire Constabulary to provide Thinkuknow training.
This free training workshop will provide an overview of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command (C.E.O.P.s), the main risks associated with online environments for children and young people and how the Thinkuknow education resources can help. The workshop is at Poynton Civic Hall – a Connected Communities Centre – on 20th March with registration at 6pm and the course starting at 6.30pm – 9.30pm. The training is available for community leaders who work directly with young people in the Poynton Area Community Partnership area of Poynton, Adlington, Pott Shrigley, Mottram St Andrew, Kettleshulme, Disley and Prestbury.
