During the current Coronavirus pandemic, many voluntary organisations have found thing’s hard as everything has ground to a halt including business’ & organisation’s that usually support these club’s.

Fortunately in time’s of need people come together, no more so then in a global crisis, and when Alex & Heather, owners of the Poynton Subway franchise, found out they were quick to offer support to the communities local football club – Poynton JFC.

To help raise money the pair selflessly donated a days takings, which totalled a whopping £500. The clubs Development Manager, Kealin Smith, stated ” The continued support Alex & Heather offers is massive, having already providing sponsorship to our girls section at the beginning of the season. It’s fantastic that local business are aware of the work we do in the community, and it’s our responsibility as times goes on to reciprocate this”.

Alex Williams added “We’re aware of the good work the volunteers at Poynton JFC do, and the opportunity they offer the children of the area. As such, after speaking to Heather, we felt it was a no brainer to help such an important local organisation and we’d urge anyone who can help the club to get involved”
