Worth Primary School have sponsored a guide dog puppy through the charity, ‘Guide Dogs for the Blind’. The children were very pleased that their fundraising efforts had enabled them to do this and they named their new black Labrador Retriever, Deejay. The school had a real treat this month when Deejay came to visit them all. He went in to each class and showed everyone the skills he had already learnt even though he is only 10 months old. Deejay’s training is going very well and he is on track to become a life changing guide dog for someone who really needs him.
