Cheshire residents are being targeted by fraudsters claiming to be Police Officers and asking victims to assist them with a covert investigation to catch corrupt banking staff.
There were 8 offences recorded in Cheshire in December with a combined loss of almost 100k.
Please make this issue aware with all elderly/vulnerable people who do not have access to emails/social media.
