On Saturday 13th and 20th December, Santa will be coming to town! Parents and children are invited to come and meet Santa in his Grotto on Park Lane and to choose a small present from his sack. There’s no charge, so decide which day is best for you and put a note in your diary now!
There will also be a street collection organised by Poynton Rotary Club. This is an opportunity for you to make a special donation to support Poynton and local community needs. It becomes more and more obvious, with every passing year just how blessed we are to live in such a wonderful town. Newcomers to Poynton are often in awe of our community spirit and say what a very warm welcome they receive. Less obvious however – maybe out of sight – are the very real needs that are felt by many less fortunate people and often quite acutely at this time of year.
