Poynton Royal British Legion has been awarded the Cheshire Club of the Year award from the CAMRA High Peak, Tameside & North East Cheshire Branch! For the 6th consecutive year!
The award recognises the best clubs serving real ale who are most committed to quality real ale – those which offer a fantastic atmosphere, welcoming surroundings and most importantly, top quality real ale served in great condition.
CAMRA held their meeting on 13th November to coincide with the Legion Branch & Club AGMs to involve as many members as possible.
The award was received for the Cub by barman Dale Woolley who was joined by Branch President Glyn Derbyshire, newly elected Club President Elaine Bailey & Club Steward Nick Williams!
