Poynton Methodist Church Preschool recently had very successful Outdoor Learning Day. “Outdoor learning and the free-flow use of our extensive indoor and outdoor space, and access to make choices from our superb range of facilities and equipment, are important features of our provision. Our committed, experienced and highly qualified staff, Anna, Julie, Rachel and Sarah, work closely with parents, and support children in their learning. Children learn through doing what they enjoy and by being given time to pursue their own interests and plans,” said leader, Sarah Parker.
Poynton Methodist Preschool provides high quality early years care and education, tailored to the individual needs of children and their families, for children aged from 20-60 months. ‘PMP’ offers flexible hours to suit parent’s home, work and school collection commitments, funded places for eligible two year olds and universal 15 hours funding for 3 and 4 year olds. From September 2017, 2 new initiatives will enhance their service. Opening hours are extending to Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5.30pm during term time and they are offering the new extended 30 hours per week funding for 3 and 4 year olds.
