Way back in July last year Poynton Junior Football Club set them self the task of filling an age group gap within the club, creating an U15’s team to enter into the Stockport Metro League. Over 30 players attended the sessions, which eventually ended up forming two teams ‘Blacks’ and ‘Reds’.
The Under 15’s Blacks team went onto have an impressive season in Division 2, not losing a single league fixture and eventually crowned League Champions. Well done to Manager Kealin Smith and his team. Good luck to the team in Division 1 football next season.Poynton U15’s are looking for players for the 2019/20 season.
