According to figures from the Office of National Statistics (ONS) Poynton is sadly one of the hardest hit regions in the local area with 36 deaths involving Covid 19. This number includes those in Poynton East and West between 1 March 2020 and 31 May 2020 and registered by 6 June 2020.
