Poynton Firms Dunkerleys LLP and Stratford Solicitors have agreed to take part in Will Week in aid of East Cheshire Hospice. Running from Oct 7-11, the firms will waive their fees in return for a donation to the Hospice.
Anyone thinking of getting a Will written, or updated due to a change in circumstances, is asked to contact the solicitors directly to check availability of appointments.
Donations are made in an envelope with all monies given directly to the Hospice by the solicitor.
Kate Bowmar, the Hospice’s Corporate Fundraiser, said: “Will Week is still a few weeks away, but places are usually booked up quickly and people run the risk of not getting an appointment if they don’t contact their solicitors.
“Poynton firms Dunkerleys LLP and Stratford Solicitors have kindly agreed to take part in the campaign this year and we can’t thank them enough for their continued support”
Legacy gifts in Wills are also a vital source of funding for the Hospice and provide care for one in three of its patients.
