Its shop colour may be blue but Poynton Dry Cleaners is about as Red Nose Day as it gets this March.
In the run up to Red Nose Day on March 13th, Poynton Dry Cleaners will be joining in the fundraising spirit alongside thousands of people across the country, in a bid to transform the lives of millions of people, both at home in the UK and across Africa.
In support of the event, from March 1st, the first 60 customers who walk through its doors with a child (or a childish adult!) will be given a red nose – courtesy of a donation to Comic Relief by Poynton Dry Cleaners.
Shop owner, Steve Talbot, says ‘We want to build on the great work the charity does and help raise awareness of Red Nose Day – a shop is a great platform to do this as we have lots of customers of all ages and backgrounds walking through our doors on a daily basis. We’d love to see as many people as possible wearing red noses to help raise awareness for the cause.”
