The Town Council welcomes nominations for the annual Civic Awards and Youth Civic Awards. These are awarded to Poynton residents and young people who have made a significant and/or sustained contribution to the community of Poynton. The process is not complicated – a brief citation in an e-mail or a letter stating the reasons for nominating someone is all that is required.
Nominations are required by Friday 30th June. The awards will be presented by the Town Mayor at the Civic Sunday reception on Sunday 17th July. Please send nominations to the Town Clerk, liz.osborn@poyntontowncouncil.gov.uk or drop them off at the Civic Hall, or post them to Liz Osborn, Poynton Town Council, Civic Hall, off Park Lane, Poynton SK12 1RB.
