It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Florence Slann peacefully in her sleep on 23rd April 2020. Florence lived for many years in Poynton and was a teacher, Deputy then Headmistress at Vernon Infant then Junior school from 1961 – 1991. She taught so many of Poynton children and we hope they will remember with fondness.
