Recently the Council Community Support Team have had several reports of nitrous oxide canisters being discarded in public areas around Poynton, most recently on Tip Hill. This appears to be a growing trend amongst young people who refer to nitrous oxide as ‘laughing gas’ and too many teenagers and parents are naïve regarding the dangerous effects of inhaling this substance. Parents please be aware that this type of activity is happening in Poynton. Do you know what your children are doing this evening?
