This year’s Health and Wellbeing Fair will be held on Saturday 26th October at Poynton Civic Hall, starting at 9am until 12 o’clock. Similarly to last year, Poynton Town Council will be working in partnership with the Patient Participation Groups and the event will coincide with the flu jab clinic at Priorslegh Medical Practice.

The event is to commemorate International Day of Older Persons and there will be a variety of groups and organisations who support older people in our community attending. It’s a great opportunity to have a chat or get information from organisations such as Poynton Golden Memories, Poynton Mobility Matters, Clickety Click knitting group, Able Living Care Services etc for you and your family, as well as getting advice on preparing well for winter! The event is free and there are refreshments available. For more information about the Health and Wellbeing Fair contact Sharon Duke, Poynton Town Council’s Communities Co-ordinator on 01625 872238 or sharon.duke@poyntontowncouncil.gov.uk
