On Tuesday 15th January, Worth Primary School’s Year 5 class were visited by the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service. The children found the session very interesting and learnt lots of new safety tips for around the home.

After the visit, the children said that their top tips were: to close all downstairs doors and turn off electrical items when going to bed; do not charge your mobile phone overnight as it can be a fire hazard and to know your address and postcode in case you need to dial 999. The children would like to thank the Fire Service for coming in.
