On Monday, 23rd April, 2018, The Monday Morning Art Group are hosting a watercolour presentation by Sheffield artist Stephen Coates. Stephen is a full-time professional artist who has written a book “The Watercolour Enigma”, writes regularly for Leisure Painter magazine, and has designed specialised brushes for Pro Arte.
Stephen’s presentations are always very entertaining, and in this one, “Vision & Composition” he will do much more than simply paint one picture. Planning, perspective, colour selection, composition and some stunning optical illusions are all included.
The presentation will be held at the Royal British Legion, Georges Road West, Poynton, SK12 1JY on Monday, April 23rd, from 10am-12 noon (please arrive before 9.45am so we can have a prompt start). The cost of the presentation is £6 which includes coffee / tea and refreshments.
