The Poynton Support Group are a small friendly team of volunteers helping to raise vital funds for East Cheshire Hospice in Macclesfield.
Each year they organise a variety of events in Poynton. In 2019 these included a Street Collection, Afternoon Tea, Gin Tasting and Bingo nights. The very successful Fish Lip Soup Jazz Band and Quiz nights are always very well attended by Poynton people. They also have an East Cheshire Hospice stall at the Summer and Christmas Fests.
The group would like to thank everyone who has supported them help raise over £8919 in 2019 for the Hospice.
The Support group are looking for new people to join them, either helping out at events or joining in monthly planning meetings. If you can spare a few hours now and again they would love to hear from you.
