1st Poynton Brownies (St. George’s) were very grateful to Waitrose in Poynton for donating £410.00 to their unit through their Community Matters Green Token Scheme.
Shirley Ross, Guider of 1st Poynton Brownies said: “The money we have received from Waitrose is outstanding and we, as a unit, are really pleased to receive such a sum of money. We are a very active unit and the money will certainly help us continue to provide a varied programme for all the Brownies to enjoy. Next year the Brownie unit will be celebrating the 90th birthday of the unit, and we shall use some of the money to enjoy this achievement.”
