Always Active, a group for older people living with dementia and other conditions are expanding in Poynton.
The centre based on The Club on Park Lane has proved to be such a hit that they are now opening the doors twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays to meet the demand from local people.
Founder, Gina Jones told us ” the amazingly supportive dementia friendly community in Poynton have made us so welcome! Anyone living with the condition is welcome, just give us a call to arrange a visit, to enjoy a range of activities”.
Always Active was set up in 2015 after Gina realised how isolated her father in law had become. Since then it’s gone from strength to strength, winning a prestigious social enterprise award and now open 5 days a week around Cheshire.
